Nonprofit counseling agency leverages RxOffice to accelerate processes, aid troubled borrowers COLUMBIA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IndiSoft, a technology development firm that focuses on systems for the default services industry, announced today a partnership with Home Prevention & Preservation Cares (HPP Cares), a Long Beach, Calif.-based nonprofit dedicated to helping homeowners avoid foreclosure. HPP Cares will use IndiSoft’s RxOffice® Premium Counselor Edition portal to improve process efficiencies in order to assist a greater number of financially troubled borrowers.
“At HPP Cares, we are committed to giving homeowners the tools they need to avoid foreclosure, and RxOffice offers the process efficiency to uphold our mission to help as many individuals as possible acquire and sustain homeownership,” said Katherine Peoples-McGill, executive director of HPP Cares. “IndiSoft understands our goals as a nonprofit, and worked with us to custom build a program to meet our unique needs.”
HPP Cares is a grassroots nonprofit that provides foreclosure prevention services to all California counties including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino. The organization offers free education, training and assistance to homeowners in danger of foreclosure, and needed advanced technology to accelerate and streamline procedures to benefit both homeowners and banks. HPP Cares will use the RxOffice module for case and document management, enabling counselors to provide homeowners with debt counseling, communication and information exchange with servicers.
“The IndiSoft team was a pleasure to work with — I wouldn’t use any other company or technology,” said Peoples-McGill. “This partnership will enable HPP Cares to operate more resourcefully than ever before, bringing innovative tools and education to the growing number of distressed homeowners.”
“California continues to be one of the states most affected by the mortgage crisis, and HPP Cares is truly dedicated to strengthening communities by promoting education and awareness, which is exactly what our industry needs in order to recover,” said Sanjeev Dahiwadkar, president and CEO of IndiSoft. “RxOffice will facilitate effective and timely collaboration among HPP Cares and the homeowners, banks and the servicers that the organization works with, and we are proud to partner with a proactive group that is making such a positive impact on the industry.”
